SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

At Folded Ego Designs, we want you to love your apparel. This policy explains our shipping process and return/exchange options.

PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT

MADE TO ORDER
Every item is made specifically for you when you order it. We don't maintain inventory or print thousands of shirts hoping they sell. This made-to-order approach eliminates waste and ensures you receive a fresh, quality product.

Production typically takes 3-7 business days from the time you place your order. During busy periods, production may take slightly longer. Once your item is produced, it's shipped directly to you.

QUALITY CONTROL
Each item is inspected before shipping to ensure it meets our quality standards. We check for print quality, proper positioning, fabric condition, and overall craftsmanship.


SHIPPING INFORMATION

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (UNITED STATES)
- Production Time: 3-7 business days
- Shipping Time: 3-5 business days via USPS or similar carrier
- Total Delivery Time: Usually 6-12 business days from order to delivery
- Tracking: Provided via email once your order ships

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
- Production Time: 3-7 business days
- Shipping Time: 7-14 business days (varies by country)
- Total Delivery Time: Usually 10-21 business days from order to delivery
- Customs: Customer is responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes imposed by their country
- Tracking: Provided via email once your order ships

SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. We work to keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible while ensuring your order arrives safely.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information. You can follow your package from our facility to your door. If tracking shows your package is delayed or stuck, contact us immediately and we'll investigate.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Folded Ego apparel. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

SIZE EXCHANGES
If your shirt doesn't fit the way you expected, we're happy to exchange it for a different size at no additional cost to you.

How it works:
1. Contact us at info@foldedego.com within 30 days of receiving your order
2. Provide your order number and the size you need
3. We'll send you a prepaid return label
4. Send back the original item in unworn, unwashed condition with tags attached
5. Once we receive it, we'll produce and ship your new size
6. Allow 7-14 days for the exchange process

Important: Because each item is made to order, we can't offer instant exchanges. We need to receive the original item before producing the replacement.

WRONG ITEM OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
If your order arrives with the wrong item, a printing defect, or damage, we'll make it right immediately.

What qualifies as defective:
- Significant printing errors (misaligned design, wrong colors, missing elements)
- Fabric defects (holes, stains, damage)
- Wrong size shipped
- Wrong design shipped
- Damaged in shipping

What to do:
1. Contact us at info@foldedego.com within 7 days of receiving your order
2. Provide your order number and photos showing the issue
3. We'll rush a replacement to you at no cost
4. You don't need to return the defective item

We inspect every order before shipping, but if something slips through, we'll fix it fast.

STANDARD RETURNS (CHANGE OF MIND)
Because each item is custom-made for you, we generally cannot accept returns for buyer's remorse, incorrect size selection, or simple change of mind.

However, we understand that sometimes things don't work out as expected. If you're genuinely unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We'll review your situation on a case-by-case basis and work with you to find a fair solution.

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
- Items worn, washed, or altered in any way
- Items without original tags
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
- Sale or promotional items marked as final sale

RETURN SHIPPING
- Size exchanges: We provide prepaid return shipping
- Defective items: You keep the defective item, no return needed
- Standard returns: Customer pays return shipping (if approved)


LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

LOST IN TRANSIT
If tracking shows your package is lost in transit:
1. Contact us at info@foldedego.com
2. We'll file a claim with the carrier
3. Once confirmed lost, we'll send a replacement at no charge

This process typically takes 7-10 business days from the time you report the issue.

STOLEN AFTER DELIVERY
If tracking confirms delivery but you didn't receive your package (stolen from porch, incorrect address, etc.):
1. Check with neighbors and household members
2. Verify the shipping address on your order confirmation
3. Contact us at info@foldedego.com

We'll work with you to investigate and find a solution, though we cannot guarantee replacement for packages confirmed delivered to the correct address. We recommend using a secure delivery location or requiring signature confirmation if theft is a concern in your area.


CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure your Folded Ego apparel lasts for years:

WASHING
- Machine wash cold, inside out
- Use mild detergent
- Wash with similar colors
- Do not bleach

DRYING
- Hang dry (best for longevity)
- OR tumble dry low heat
- Remove promptly to prevent wrinkles

IRONING
- Iron inside out if needed
- Do not iron directly on the design
- Use low heat

Following these care instructions will keep your shirt looking fresh and the design vibrant through countless wears and washes.
